About the Opportunity

Arctic Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Equipment & Logistics Manager to join our teams in Iqaluit, Nunavut on a full-time basis.  

Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all equipment, tools and supplies are ordered on a timely basis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and leading all equipment handling, storage, shipping and procurement
  • Managing all shipping and receiving
  • Procuring equipment and consumable for all trip sand office needs and tracking budget
  • Managing fleet of motorized equipment (ATV, snowmobile, etc.,) including preventative and required maintenance, registration, and insurance
  • Overseeing all repairs and maintenance of equipment
  • Inputting and maintaining supplier information in Infusionsoft
  • Managing the equipment rental and sales program
  • Managing technology activation/deactivation (i.e., satellite phones, internet, InReach, etc.)
  • Managing and reporting of the inventory software system
  • Creating and maintaining freight and logistics schedule
  • Other duties, as required

For this role, we are seeking someone with a relevant degree or diploma combined with three years of equipment experience. You will have knowledge of small engine repair and fleet management (ATV, snowmobile, 2-stroke engine), as well as the ability to use GPS, satellite phone, InReach, SPOT and other safety-related technology.  

Comfortable working in a small and entrepreneurial environment, you will also be willing to travel to remote areas, as needed. Most importantly, we are seeking someone with outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and who can work as part of a team to ensure client satisfaction is achieved.
